With over 25 years of entrepreneurship & technology experience, I have built, run, and advised companies around the world across a wide range of industries.

In 2021, I returned to Silicon Valley after 15 years in Shanghai, where I founded China’s first Cloud Computing company, and was CTO of one of the world’s largest video platforms.

In 2008, I co-founded ChinaNetCloud, China’s first Cloud Computing Company & launching the first Internet Managed Service Provider (MSP) in China - we managed infrastructure for hundreds of local & global companies, and for hundreds of millions of users.

Previously, I served as a CTO of Tudou (China), Intermind, New Vine Logistics, and Advanced Management Systems. I was also the Chief Architect / Advisor on many local & global projects, including for the World Health Organization in Geneva, Grameen Bank Foundation, and various Fortune 500 companies.

Earlier, I wrote a book on globalization (which you can buy here), and now write regularly on Medium, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Substack. I also hold numerous patents in digital data exchange and Internet operations technologies.

In my spare time, I fly helicopters, sail boats, and taste wine.
